Low‑temperature resistance is one of TPU’s prominent advantages. Polyether‑based TPU in particular features inherent favorable low‑temperature flexibility. Low‑temperature resistance modification further expands this merit. By optimizing the soft‑segment structure or adding special plasticizers/stabilizers, the material can maintain excellent elasticity and mechanical properties without embrittlement under extremely cold conditions.

 

Main Uses

Widely adopted for outdoor products in cold regions, such as winter sports gear, sealing parts for refrigeration equipment, conveyor belts for cold storage, and automotive components for high‑latitude areas.
